The most direct path to eliminate or reduce mass shootings
and gun shootings of all kinds is to require that the manufacturers and the sellers
of weapons used by the shooter pay the shooting victims medical and
rehabilitation bills, funeral costs and lump sum (i.e. life insurance) to the victim's survivors.
The manufacturers and the seller will cipher out a plan so they can continue to profit
and we (the potential victims) will have a viable (American) solution forthwith.
Please go here for the story.
“Federal law shields firearm purveyors from liability. (Congress
passed the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act [PLCAA] in 2005 at the
behest of the National Rifle Association and other industry lobbyists.) Taxing
gun-makers and dealers is the only way to make victims whole.”
