Reboot?

I'm all for new technology, research, discovery, etc., especially when it works. When it doesn't, not so much.

This latest advance has me thinking, "I'm really happy not to be among the first users".

Here's the story...

Time to Reboot Washington, D.C.?

Does anyone know how to reboot our federal government?

Now that our esteemed leaders have so wisely shut the government down, I’m thinkin’ it’s a great time to follow through with the process that any “computer” master knows how to do.

Let’s turn all the power off and start anew.

System memory of all those senators and representatives and our president will be cleared and all those locked-up processes will also be “disappeared”.

Once we’re rebooted the government we’ll have a chance to get a few things done. Hopefully, there will be one or two good things actually done for the benefit of the U.S. people.

I’m just saying… and kind a prayin’, too.

When all else fails, reboot.

That’s a lesson I learned many years ago. When my Mac or PC went on the fritz I worked endless hours trying to get things working again so I could make my deadline. Nothing I could do solved the problem… no service tech… no software upgrade… etc. Zero.

Then I remembered… unplug the d**mn thing!

That usually worked and my computer was up and running once again.

The other day the thought occurred to me that we should try rebooting our failed political system. Since both parties are under the thumb of the mighty .001% and they have all of everything now. Well then, maybe we can get things back on track once again by rebooting… unplug and turn things back on.

We have nothing to lose and everything to gain. So, let’s reboot.
