Wee-Wee Whiner

The "worst" president ever.
Tough guy dealmaker or lily-livered coward?

Well, neither. We learned that Mr. Trump is truly a wee-wee whiner after Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) vented his position on CBS News’ “Face the Nation,” this past Sunday.

Sen Graham said, "If you bring Dick Durbins (sic) (Sen. Richard J. Durbin [D-IL]) to the table, we'll fix this (end the government lockout). I think we'll have offers on the table when we find somebody that's not crazy… We're not going to negotiate with people who are crazy to deal with."

It’s obvious to me that Mr. Trump spent the weekend cowering in his urine-soaked-underwear, fearing confronting 78-year-old grandmother Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA). She’s the lady who really does know a couple of things or so about hardball negotiating.

No doubt Mr. Trump knows Ms. Pelosi sees him for what he is, just a petulant child.

His recurring nightmare must be Speaker Pelosi outing him as a cowardly windbag and pulling him by the ear up to the blackboard and making him write 100 times: "I'm the worst president ever & everyone knows!"

Please watch the whole video clip for the real story: CBS News’ Face the Nation, with host Margaret Brennan.

Are We the Generation that Lost America?

Early this morning I woke in an alternative universe where Mr. Trump was scheduled to be sworn in as President of the United States and the U.S. Congress, the Supreme Court and 50% of state governors and legislatures were controlled by the “R” people.

That sent shivers down my back… no more “democracy”… no more “checks and balances”.

Worse, according to my nightmare, President-elect Trump, although a self-professed, business-world-winner, was installing a whole bunch of people with little-to-no government experience; named people who have announced their determination to dissolve the department they are appointed to head; and was determined to appoint people whose apparent qualification is being a billionaire or multi-millionaire.

That sent shivers down my back, too… no more government of and for the people… no more “safety net”… actually, no government at all.

Worse yet, Mr. Trump had not separated from his business interests and seemed to be leveraging his soon-to-be presidential credentials in order to add more gold to his extensive collection at every opportunity.

That one sent shivers down my back, as well… an American President no different than a ruthlessly corrupt Middle Eastern dictator.

Even worse yet, Mr. Trump asked for and received help to win the presidency from our sometimes archenemy, Mr. Putin; and, Mr. Trump reportedly planned to maintain his private security cadre rather than rely on the Secret Service for protection.

That sent a gigantic shiver down my back as I recalled that two of Mr. Hitler’s private security details operated outside of the law: the SA (Sturmabteilung or Storm Detachment) a.k.a. the Brownshirts and the Reichssicherheitsdienst (Reich Security Service; RSD).

The thought, way too frightening, that our President could sell out our nation for some Russian hotel properties or golf courses, well, that one woke me as my mind flooded with thoughts about coming perils. Still, I held onto the hope that I was just watching an episode of the Twilight Zone.

Then, I remembered that the much of the nightmare is real.

How will we meet the challenges to come?
Will we, the Boomers, become known as the generation that lost America?
We will see, won’t we? We will see which type of symbol Mr. Trump's hat becomes.

Dear Mr. President...

After reading that the President said he was "too polite" in his debate with Mr. Romney, I had this horrendous nightmare... Mr. Romney, President of the United States, commander of the newly empowered, witch-hunting Tea Party, the FBI, the CIA and the U.S. Military about to "neutralize” the Russians, the Chinese, the whole middle east, plus every registered Democrat, the elderly and people with Latino sounding names… and the French, too… just because he can.

So, I wrote the President a note:

Dear Mr. President,
I have the most respect for you, sir. You have retained your soul and your humanistic compass while serving as our President. For me that is Job One - serve the people - because we know very few in office actually do that.

Job Two is to defend us, and you, from those who have sold their souls and lost their moral direction so that our families might have a fighting chance.

You must never forget that if you lose, we really lose – big time.

Mr. Romney made a major part of his fortune selling cancer-causing cigarettes to the Russian people and a great deal of the remainder selling out the jobs of everyday Joes and Janes to the highest bidder – after ensuring that his gold was "in the bank".

What will he do with the power of the presidency of the United States?

Be polite one more time and Mr. Romney and his 1% supporters will cut your heart out and put your head on a pike – along with ours – the 99%.
